"Pop" Emrey Warm-Up Relays @ Liberty High School
It was cold, with winds howling up the 30 mph.
But for the athletes, it was their first chance to compete. So
the wind and cold were cast aside, and the events unfolded. In
the girls' relays, Liberty took three of the eight running events
contended, winning the DMR, the Mid. DMR, and the 4x800. In the
field relays, Saucon Valley and Liberty each took two. On the
boys' side, Northampton, Liberty and Bethlehem Catholic each took
two of the eight running relays, while Stroudsburg captured two
of the field relays.
