North Penn's boys and girls squads didn't leave any doubt as they each won seven events. The boys from North Penn dominated the running events, taking the 4x100 (43.1), Shuttle Hurdles (1:05.1), 4x200 (1;33.1), Sprint Medley (3:40.9) 4x800 (8:17.5), and DMR (11:07.8), plus the Long Jump Relay (39-00.25). Three were three meet records on the girls side. Wissahickon, anchored Erin Franklin, took the DMR in 12:57.6, and the 4x1600 in 22:06.9. North Penn's Jess Johnson & Jackie Bryant combined in the Shot Put relay to set a new MR by almost seven feet, going 79-00.25. North Penn's girls also took the Shuttle Hurdles (1:17.6), The Sprint Medley (4:17.3), the 4x800 (10:05.0), The Long Jump (28-06.75), The Discus (222-09), and the Javelin (172-01.50). They also captured the true coed event with Deb Fink, Kevvin Akins, Caitlin Belfield, and Matt Henderson boing 3:41.8 to win a 4x400.
