DELAWARE COUNTY GIRLS' RELAYS @ INTERBORO

Haverford HS showed they are well on the road back this season after their second place state finish in 2001 with three freshmen and a sophomore. They're a year older, and apparently, with a senior joining the group, more determined. At the Delco Girls' Relays at Interboro, Fiona York, Rachel Giannascoli, Alicia York and Gen Story (a SR), went 9:32.3. O'Hara and Upper Darby were more then 20 seconds back. But O'Hara (Debevec, Annunziato, Kelly, Schopf) were setting up for the DMR, taking the 1200-400-800-1600 relay in 12:36.0. Prendie was three seconds back.
