This is Krista. She's a freshman at Wissahickon.
She will win many races. But first, she has to race against Bailey and Abney at States.

Jakki Bailey, Kennett, won the 100 comfortably, but the challenge of Simpkins made her concentrate in the 200.

 

Jessica Weaver, Henderson, held off Michelle Phan, Central, in the 400 to win by 1 second.

Daina Hunt, Henderson, took the 300 Hurdles in 47.5.

 

Coatesville and West Chester East held the lead on Erin Franklin in the 4x800 on the second leg, but Franklin closed the gap.

Linda Hendrickson and Andrea Angelos got West Chester East out to an early lead in the 4x800.

 

Wissahickon's Lindsey hands off the lead to Dickey.

Colleen McLoughlin hands off to soph Megan Ryan, as WC East goes 9:55.7

 

 

In the 300 Hurdles, Julia Birmingham, Henderson, wins in 47.5.

 

(R to L) Malcolm, Franklin, O'Connell at the half in 2:34 of the 1600.

Central's Reisel Berger won the 3200 in 12:07.7.

 

Wissahickon's 2nd leg took the lead for good (Baptise-58.6 handing off to Dickey-63.3)

Simkins (57.8) gets the baton from Dickey in the 4x400.

 

Kim Malcolm had control of the 800 at the quarter. She would win in 2:20.6.

 

Alesha Dallstream hands off to Camirah Parker, WC East in the 4x100. They would finish 5th in 53.8 from the first of two heats.

Soph Keisha Bentley hands off to Alexis Patterson, 11, in the 4x100 as Central finishes 3rd in 52.5.
