Eastern States XC Camp


The Eastern States XC Camp will be held at Lebanon Valley College from July 29 to August 3, 2007.

Cost per camper for a 6 day, 5 night running and learning experience is $335, with team discounts available.

Co-ed for grades 7 - 12, all abilities welcome. Dorm rooms, dining room and indoor assembly rooms are air-conditioned. Running will be on varied terrain, with trips to the PA State Game Land trails at Mount Gretna included. The camper to counselor ratio is 10 to 1. College recreational and training facilities are available. The camp is staffed with experienced teachers/coaches with a deep knowledge of running and has worked with runners of all abilities for more than 28 years.

Bison Cross Country Camp

This is a teaching camp, so we will not do more than two workouts per day. Rotations will include weight lifting, stretching, nutrition, strategy, training logs, etc. Guest speakers will give talks on injury prevention, nutrition, proper footwear, and motivation.

Briarwood Running Camp

Geneva College High Velocity Speed Camp

July 23-25, 2007 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Beaver Falls, PA

We will help you learn how to cut time off of your 40-yard dash time. Local high school teams have cut between .2 and .3 tenths of a second off their times at Geneva College Speed Camps in the last four years. Develop new methods to enhance starting, first step quickness, acceleration, maximum velocity, and recovery techniques. Not only will you become faster they will begin to develop speed specific fitness.

Geneva College Summer Hurdle Camp

July 26 - 28, 2007 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Beaver Falls, PA

Hurdling is a combination of Speed, Rhythm and Skill. By practicing rhythm and skill sequences the hurdler can improve his/her time. In addition to practicing the skills of rhythm and technique we will show you how to improve your starting and running techniques, acceleration, maximum velocity and recovery techniques. You will learn to become faster and you will begin to develop hurdling specific fitness.
